USA Today and New York Times bestselling author Nicole Williams delivers a seductive summer romance worth swooning over. Perfect for fans of Sarah Dessen and Stephanie Perkins.
Phoenix can’t imagine anything worse than being shipped off to family summer camp. Her parents have been fighting for the past two years–do they seriously think being crammed in a cabin with Phoenix and her little brother, Harry, will make things better?
On top of that, Phoenix is stuck training with Callum–the head counselor who is seriously cute but a complete know-it-all. His hot-cold attitude means he’s impossible to figure out–and even harder to rely on. But despite her better judgment, Phoenix is attracted to Callum. And he’s promising Phoenix a summer she’ll never forget. Can she trust him? Or is this just another lie?

Sounds great, right?

Isn’t it great? It definitely makes me want to read the book even more!! Its a spin off to Karina’s other series, Sins and Needles and Dirty Angels, but it can be read as a standalone! Deep Redemption by Tillie Cole – blog tour!

Its finally in the world!! Yes, Deep Redemption is here! And it is glorious!

Deep Redemption is the fourth book in the dark and addicting Hades Hangmen series, a much anticipated release for me! I’ve been looking forward to this ever since I finished Souls Unfractured last year. What’s even more exciting is that I get to be a part of the blog tour!

I loved being back in the world of the Hades Hangmen, although this book has a greater focus on Rider/Prophet Cain and the religious commune. Cain has spent all his life in seclusion, training to be the next Prophet, with only his twin brother for company. Shielded from the worst parts of the commune, he’s now questioning his entire life and the religion he was always part of, as we
ll as dealing with his brother’s betrayal. Beaten and locked away, Cain encounters Harmony – another captive of the commune – and while he falls for her, things go from bad to worse in New Zion.

He was born to ascend.

He wasdestined to lead.

He was never meant to fail.

This book was just as dark and intense as the previous three books, in fact in some parts it was probably a bit darker! I love the dark intensity of these books – they hook me from start to finish!! I’d highly recommend them for anyone wanting to read a romance unlike any other! Definitely a 5/5 star series!

I’ve been loving Karina’s teasers, so I just KNOW this book is going to be fantastic!

Here is the summary:

What happens when the kink between the pages leads to heat between the sheets?

All Blake Crawford wants is to pass his creative writing course, get his university degree and take over his dad’s ailing family business. What Amanda Newland wants is to graduate at the top of her class, as well as finally finish her novel and prove to her family that writing is a respectful career.

What Blake and Amanda don’t want is to be paired up with each other for their final project but that’s exactly what they both get when they’re forced to collaborate on a writing piece. Since Amanda thinks Blake is a pushy asshole (with a panty-melting smirk and British accent) and Blake thinks Amanda has a stick up her ass (though it’s brilliant ass), they fight tooth and nail until they discover they write well together. They also might find each other really attractive, but that’s neither here nor there.

When their writing project turns out to be a success, the two of them decide to start up a secret partnership together using a pen name, infiltrating the self-publishing market in the lucrative genre of erotica. Naturally, with so much heat and passion between the pages, it’s not long before their dirty words become a dirty reality. Sure, they still fight a lot but at least there’s make-up sex now.

But even as they start to fall hard for each other, will their burgeoning relationship survive if their scandalous secret is exposed or are happily-ever-afters just a work of fiction?

New World: Ashes by Jennifer Wilson – blog tour!

Hello everyone! Today I have something special for you! A blog tour post for the upcoming release of New World: Ashes by Jennifer Wilson! In case you missed out on the cover reveal, here is the beautiful cover! I really love it – although I do still have a soft spot for the old cover!

nwa cover

So, let’s just start with me saying go and pre-order New World: Ashes right now! It’s awesome! I promise you won’t regret it! When I saw that there was an opportunity to be a part of this blog tour I put my name down immediately! This series is one of my favourites so of course I wanted to gush about it to you guys! I’m lucky enough to have read it before there series was picked up by Of Tomes for republishing, and I can honestly say I loved it!

New World Ashes is the second book in Jennifer’s New World series – following on from New World: Rising.  The first book introduced fantastic characters, and a fresh new dystopian world that totally immerses you! I often find that the second book in a trilogy is a bit of a filler book – but this certainly wasn’t the case here! It was just as action packed and exciting as the first installment in the series! It is filled with action, intrigue, friendship, and romance! New World: Ashes really is a book that breaks the mold!

Here is the Goodreads description!

After Phoenix, a 17-year-old orphan rogue, sacrifices herself for her loved ones, her world again takes an unexpected turn. She may have forgotten her past, but it hasn’t forgotten her. A war is coming and her role in it will be pivotal.

That is… if she survives.

Go show an amazing author some appreciation and pre-order this wonderful book! And if you haven’t read New World: Rising yet then I suggest you pick it up ASAP! New World: Ashes releases 7th June!

The Good Mother by A.L Bird – blog tour!

The Good Mother

Recently I’ve been in the mood for thrillers, I don’t know why, but I’m rolling with it! So when I was given the opportunity to read The Good Mother, a new psychological thriller, how could I resist? I’m so glad that I read this – it was intense, fast paced, and full of twists. If you want a book that keeps you questioning what on earth is going on, then I’d definitely recommend you pick up The Good Mother!

Here is the Goodreads description!

The greatest bond. The darkest betrayal.

Susan wakes up alone in a room she doesn’t recognise, with no memory of how she got there. She only knows that she is trapped, and her daughter is missing.

The relief that engulfs her when she hears her daughter’s voice through the wall is quickly replaced by fear, knowing that whoever has imprisoned her has her daughter, too.

Devising a plan to keep her daughter safe, Susan begins to get closer to her unknown captor. And suddenly, she realises that she has met him before.

The Good Mother is a dark and disturbing psychological thriller for fans of C L Taylor, Kathryn Croft and S K Tremayne.

Sound interesting? I definitely thought so! I read this book in one sitting, I flew through it! It starts with Susan waking up in an unfamilar room; alone, confused, no memory of how she got there, or where her daughter is. Cara is her priority – making sure she is ok. But when she discovers that Cara is being held in the room next door, she is determined to find a way escape her captivity to save her daughter.

I don’t want to give too much away about this one, it really is best to go into it knowing as little as possible! But I will say be prepared for some unexpected twists, especially towards the end!

Rating – 4.5 stars!
